Why Rural Road Safety Matters

Rural roads account for more than 65% of Australia’s road fatalities, despite carrying a much smaller proportion of overall traffic.

These statistics represent real people, real families and real communities.

As a business operating extensively throughout regional and remote Australia, we believe we all have a role to play in creating safer roads and encouraging safer driving behaviours.

This year, we’re encouraging our people and communities to take a moment to Pause Before You Drive.

Before every journey:

Check you’re fit to drive
Eliminate distractions
Plan your trip
Wear your seatbelt
Look out for other road users
Get home safely
